Press Centre / Paul Ainsworth

Paul Ainsworth has worked at Number 6 in Padstow since 2006, taking sole ownership in 2009. Number 6 is one of the best reviewed restaurants in Cornwall with a menu focusing on quality ingredients, often humble in nature, used to create meals with smooth clean flavours that offer great value for money.
Paul was selected to compete to represent the South West in the finals of the Great British Menu against some of the most respected chefs in the country. In the final he won the dessert course and had his “Taste of the Fairground” served at a celebratory banquet for over 100 people at Leadenhall Market. His winning desert is now available on the menu at the restaurant.
